I Honestly Wanna Give It A Shot



The 71st Miss universe pageant decided to ask the question how would one show that the organization is ever developing and empowering. I decided to play contestant and the first thing that came to mind i wrote down. I would say;

"Miss universe has been hosting pagents for over 71 years and each year is better than the previous. it gives a platform for women to show that they are not just their looks but so much more. Its gives a woman the voice to speak for those who have no voice and raise awareness to critical issues that are so often neglected. I will work show that by being an example to the girl child and being a voice to the voiceless." _Leah Mbiri 2023

  Miss universe of 2021 harnaaz kaur sandhu has been one of the people raising awareness for period poverty throughout her reign in the office. She has launched an initiative called mestrual equality which in her words will metamorphose “period poverty to period powerty” by reaching about five million women who have no access to clean and safe menstrual care starting of with those in India. IS FAST FASHION A TREND OR JUST AFFRODABLE

  Fast fashion has mostly been talked about  lately, and it can be said to be an industry that's into the replication of clothing from catwalks. This is at a massive production rate so as to suit the demand of people which is to keep up with the latest treads at a cheap cost. Examples of these fast  fashion  industries are Shein which even rose to be the number one brand  going above Zara, H&M and th e like. Now, to say something is a trend, in simple terms is to say that thing is popular. We can see trendy designer brands as Louis Vuitton, Gucci , Fedi, Prada and more. These are famous around the world but they not in the category of fast fashion as they are luxury brands which are expensive and excusive. I live in Malawi and  fast fashion is not as widely purchased compared to European or even other African countries . Does product display attract customers to make more purchases rather than the requirement to meet their needs?

  I was in town when I noticed almost all the street vendors had   products lined up in an attract way and i couldn't help but wonder the significance of this. I live in the capital city of an southern east african country called Malawi and it has a significant number of hustlers working   to earn income. Even through a number of them are living from hand to mouth, it essential that they have alittle sometimes in their pockets when the day is ending. This is motivation enough to do the best they do in their various small business especially in today's economy. product display is important but this makes me wonder, Does it entice the Customer more than their requirement for the item.
