I was in town when I noticed almost all the street vendors had products lined up in an attract way and i couldn't help but wonder the significance of this.

I live in the capital city of an southern east african country called Malawi and it has a significant number of hustlers working to earn income. Even through a number of them are living from hand to mouth, it essential that they have alittle sometimes in their pockets when the day is ending. This is motivation enough to do the best they do in their various small business especially in today's economy. product display is important but this makes me wonder, Does it entice the Customer more than their requirement for the item.

It is true that people are drawn to a good aesthetics and a nice presentation because of the picture perfect aura that is shown on social media  which , in our integrated globalized world has socialized almost everyone of us. However can a good aesthetic itself make a customer to pick one or more of the items up on sale? Social media is influencing individuals day by day from what they buy to where they buy it from. One can clearly see that in the introduction on online shopping which many in the working class have adopted . This theory of purchasing because of a good presentation has been seen to work for online shopping. People make more purchases as they are drawn to the products outward look.

The economy of today tends to put people in a situation of a tight budget, this make individuals to buy what they need rather than complementary purchasing. Yet human beings are creatures known act on their impulses.

In Big retail stores, organizing and stationing products helps individuals to find what they want easier and quicker bringing about efficiency. In addition researchers have said that it does indeed entice consumers in making purchases by increasing desirability . At the same time it allows the suppliers to notice what products are customers most engaging with.
